One night, I had a visions as I was praying.\u00a0 I saw a rushing flow of water coming from God\u2019s hands like a waterfall.\u00a0 His hands were pouring the water out on the earth as they moved to and fro. I realized his hands were coming towards me.\u00a0 I knew I was about to be overwhelmed by this waterfall when he told me to hold my arms away from my body pointing downwards.\u00a0 The water rushed over me and flowed out in the direction of my arms.\u00a0 My arms directed the water as if they were the mouth to a pitcher.\u00a0 I could turn to the right or to the left and move my arms to control where the water flowed.<\/p>\n
God\u2019s hands remained over me pouring this rushing rapid of a waterfall.\u00a0 As I walked and moved, I could control where the water went around me.\u00a0 It seemed like I was walking the path of my life.\u00a0 The water nourished everything it touched. \u00a0Because it was pouring over and around me, lush green grass and flowers grew everywhere I walked. \u00a0It reminded me of the leaky, bucket story.<\/p>\n
I was told to bend my arms inward.\u00a0 This stopped the water from flowing freely through me.\u00a0 It backed up and went back into the river coming from God.\u00a0 When the water stopped flowing through me, he moved away from me and poured his water somewhere else.\u00a0 There was a little water pooling over me because I was still in a shallow part of the river, but it almost became still.\u00a0 I was told to open my arms back up.\u00a0 The water began to slowly flow over me again, then gradually began to rush causing a wide and mighty rapid.<\/p>\n
Then I looked back to where I first saw the water coming.\u00a0 There God was coming again, but this time with lightening.\u00a0 I was firmly directed to make sure I kept my hands out and to the sides like I did with the water.\u00a0 The lightening came and flowed through me like the water had before.\u00a0 It was like I was a lightening rod.\u00a0 I could see the streaks of light flowing out from me and streaking everywhere.<\/p>\n
This is what I understood from the vision.\u00a0 The Word of God is like a flowing river.\u00a0 The word that flows into us is meant to flow freely through us and onto everyone around us.\u00a0 Our conversations must be wet with the words of our Father.\u00a0 Share everything.\u00a0 Water flows freely in the path of least resistance.\u00a0 If we don\u2019t share what we\u2019ve been given, it\u2019s like when I closed my arms in the vision.\u00a0 We cannot be used to spread the kingdom, so the word moves to someone else who will.\u00a0 If we share a little, we get a little more.\u00a0 The more we give, the more we get.\u00a0 It\u2019s the law of sowing and reaping.\u00a0 The harvest doesn\u2019t come from what we sowed; it comes from the one who gave the seed in the first place.<\/p>\n
People in the vision would have looked at me and thought, \u201cWow, she is so blessed.\u00a0 Look at all the beauty around her.\u00a0 Every where she goes things just work out for her.\u201d\u00a0 It wasn\u2019t that I was blessed, but because I shared what I was given by God.\u00a0 I spread around me what nourished.\u00a0 My walk through life was beautiful not because of me, but because I spilled out what God gave me.<\/p>\n
Lightening only exists where there is water.\u00a0 After we show we can be trusted to be a conduit for the word and things he has given us, he can trust us with his power.\u00a0 If we are struck by lightning and it does not pass through us, but stops in us, it is fatal.\u00a0 God\u2019s power is stronger than lightening.\u00a0 Our bodies cannot contain the power of lightening no more than we can contain the power of God.\u00a0 When God\u2019s power flows, it must not stop in us, but flow through us onto our friends, family, neighbors, everyone.\u00a0 Trying to contain or control the power of God is fatal.\u00a0 If he gives his power to us, and we are not a free-flowing conduit, we bring judgment on ourselves.\u00a0 He cannot give what we will not allow to flow.\u00a0 He loves us too much to give us what will be detrimental.<\/p>\n
Whatever Jehovah gives must be shared.\u00a0 We are not to be wells of stagnate water nor containers for His power.\u00a0 His word is useless left sitting in us.\u00a0 We must share everything.\u00a0 Do not let a drop remain in you, and his word will begin to flow like a river through you.\u00a0 Everything flows in the path of least resistance.\u00a0 God\u2019s power cannot be contained.\u00a0 He will only direct it toward someone who will allow it to flow.\u00a0 If we will not allow it to flow freely through us, we will die.\u00a0 The one who does not use what he has to produce more, what he has is taken away. (Matthew 25:14-30; Luke 19:11-27)<\/p>\n
Once he can trust you to share the smaller things he has given, he can trust you with more.\u00a0 He does not want us to be judged adversely, so he withholds his power when he knows we will not use it for the glory of h is kingdom.\u00a0 He will not answer prayers that will cause us harm.\u00a0 Choose to be a free-flowing conduit of whatever Jehovah gives you.\u00a0 The little trickle of water will become a mighty, raging river nourishing and providing for all your needs.\u00a0 Then his power will flow into your life producing life-changing miracles to the glory of God.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
