If Jesus heals, why do Christians get sick?<\/span><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.<\/p>\n

~ 1 Peter 2:24<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Surely our griefs He Himself bore,
\nAnd our sorrows He carried;
\nYet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken,
\nSmitten of God, and afflicted.
\nBut He was pierced through for our transgressions,
\nHe was crushed for our iniquities;
\nThe chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,
\nAnd by His scourging we are healed.<\/p>\n

~ Isaiah 53:4-5<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

When Jesus was on earth he healed everyone he met.\u00a0 We are supposed to be his body, doing more than he did.\u00a0 At the least, I would expect his \u201cbody,\u201d Christians, to be healed if they\u2019re not healing everyone else like he did.\u00a0 I was sitting in my room thinking about Christians I knew.\u00a0 So many of us are sick.\u00a0 We get colds, the flu, have allergies, high blood pressure, paralysis, cancer, etc.\u00a0 The scripture said we ARE healed.\u00a0 Not were, not will be, are.\u00a0 That\u2019s not what I see.<\/p>\n

I asked Jehovah, \u201cIf the Bible says we are healed, why are we sick?\u201d\u00a0 He answered my question, with a question:<\/p>\n

\u00a0Which one is the lie?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Which one is the lie, the scripture that says we are healed, or that we are sick?\u00a0 Well, I know the Bible is the word of God, and God cannot lie.\u00a0 Satan is the father of lies.\u00a0 Is he lying to us about our health?\u00a0 Yes!\u00a0 (Hebrews 6:18)<\/p>\n

Spiritual warfare is fought in our minds.\u00a0 That\u2019s why 2 Corinthians 10:5 says we must take every thought captive. \u00a0\u00a0Satan whispers sickness into our minds, and gives symptoms to our fleshly bodies.\u00a0 If we believe that sneeze is a cold we\u2019re catching, we get sick.\u00a0 If we start feeling pain in our joints and our mother had arthritis, we believe we\u2019re getting arthritis and receive the sickness in our bodies.\u00a0 What we believe and speak manifests itself in the natural world.\u00a0 We are in fact healed, and free from all sickness.\u00a0 But if we submit our health to the lie of the enemy, he can give us sickness that does not belong to us.<\/p>\n

God showed me that we have to take control of the thoughts that come into our mind.\u00a0 We have to know and believe and have faith in the healing of Jesus.\u00a0 If we believe for a second that we have a headache, then we have a headache.\u00a0 Don\u2019t believe the lie.\u00a0 Don\u2019t believe the lie that you are going to get germs from the kid that coughed on you.\u00a0 It is an exercise of faith.<\/p>\n

Once I learned to conquer the inception of sickness, I started working on kicking out sickness that was already manifest in my body.\u00a0 I have lived free of simple things like colds and the flu for years.\u00a0 I\u2019ve conquered bigger things, but am still working on things I\u2019ve had since birth, like allergies.\u00a0 I will not let the sacrifice of my savior go in vain.\u00a0 I will not live in sickness.\u00a0 He died to save me, but suffered (received stripes) so I would not have to suffer with sickness.<\/p>\n

You ARE healed.\u00a0 Any symptom or sickness you have in your body is a LIE.\u00a0 Once you can separate yourself from your condition, you can conquer the spirit of infirmity. \u00a0The enemy has been defeated.\u00a0 Exercise your faith in the healing Jesus delivered to you.\u00a0 Let our health be a glory to our father in heaven.\u00a0 Even here on earth, let no Christian say, \u201cI am sick.\u201d \u00a0(Isaiah 33:24) \u00a0Know the truth of your healing.<\/p>\n
